I was talking to a friend of mine the other day, telling him about my business, and he quickly asked “What do you do exactly?” My response was immediately “I’m a concierge travel planner for all Disney Destinations”.
He looked at me for a second, and then asked, “What is it you do exactly?”
A fair question. So let’s dive into exactly what that means.
It means that I help you plan your vacation from start to finish. From the moment you contact me about going to Disney, (and that means World, Land, Cruise line, Hawaii, or Adventures by Disney) I’m your partner. We travel the planning road together.
Planning a Disney vacation is a lot of work. When to go, how much to spend, where to stay, how many days, how many parks, what kind of tickets, dining plan or no dining plan. If a dining plan WHICH dining plan. Those are the questions we will answer before we even think about getting you a quote.
After those questions are answered and I book your trip, unlike a regular travel agent, who will hand you your documents and walk away, I’m just getting started.
I’m going to watch that booking like a hawk. When specials are announced that affect the cost of your trip, I’ll be the one on the phone lowering the cost of your vacation. Automatically. Without you even having to think about it.
We will talk about which of the over 100 restaurants you and your family want to eat at while you are there. I’ll be the one on the computer( or two and my phone) at 6AM 60 days before your vacation securing you that table in Cinderella’s Castle. You won’t have to worry about it.
We will talk about your wants, wishes, dreams, and I’m going to put all that into creating an itinerary for your trip. Do you have younger kids, older kids, no kids? Parents, grandparents? Thrill rides, Princesses, Pirates? Shopping, golf, spa?
I’ll be the one planning what parks on what days, examining crowd calendars, looking into new experiences, weaving your wants into a plan that will save you time in line, spare you the stress of crowds, and take care of everyone in your family. I’ll be the one booking your extras, planning them into your itinerary. You won’t have to worry about it.
I’m going to help you with Genie+ and Lightning Lane, Disney’s ride reservation system. I’ll teach you how to use the system, what to use Lightning Lane for, what you don’t need it for, how to get the most out of it and use it effectively. I’ll train you how to use the My Disney Experience app. I will show you how to join the Virtual Queues needed for some of the attractions. You’ll be a My Disney Experience master when we are done!
3 weeks before you leave for your trip, you will get my tips and tricks packet for each park. This information will tell you what to ride when, in what order, so that you are always a step ahead of the crowd. It will include detailed information on every aspect of your trip, from airport transportation, to how to get the most out of your dining plan, to the best location to watch the fireworks.
And then finally, I’ll be there with you. I’m a text away while you are there, answering any questions or concerns in real time as questions arise.
